First go through the Exito onboarding to get your unique tracking script with your store ID.
Go to onboarding →Your script will look like this:

Find your current active theme. Click the three dots menu (...) next to it. Then click Edit code.
Make sure you are editing your current live theme — not a draft theme.
In the code editor left sidebar find the Layout folder. Click on theme.liquid to open it.
Press Ctrl+F (or Cmd+F on Mac) and search for </body>. Paste your Exito script tag on the line just before it.

<script src="https://getexito.com/tracker.js" data-site-id="your-store"></script></body></html>Click the Save button in the top right corner of the code editor. Exito is now live on your store.
Exito will start tracking your visitors immediately after saving.
No. The Exito script is under 5kb and loads asynchronously — meaning it does not block your page from loading. Your store speed will not be affected.
Yes. Exito works on any Shopify theme that uses the standard theme.liquid file — which is all themes from the Shopify theme store and most custom themes.
Some newer Shopify themes use a different structure. Look for a file called layout/theme.liquid or contact us at getexito.com and we will help you install it.
Yes — that is the point. When a customer tries to leave your store the popup asks why. Their feedback is what Exito uses to generate your weekly report.
